Job Opportunity

Aged care professionals with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care are sought to lead and mentor clinical teams.

  • Lead and mentor a team of clinicians in providing person-centered care to residents.
  • Build and maintain a culture of excellence with the service manager.
  • Make a positive impact on the lives of our residents through collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating resident care planning and quality management activities.
  • Reviewing and maintaining accurate and relevant data for aged care funding.
  • Monitoring and reviewing nursing practice procedures and clinical programs.
  • Overseeing and reporting resident/client documentation.
  • Coordinating and monitoring the delivery of clinical care by direct care staff.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, applicants must have:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Experience in managing and leading clinical care in the aged care sector.
  • 5 years post-graduate experience in aged care or acute care clinical settings.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care accreditation systems and compliance.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC.
  • Proven ability to educate, mentor and motivate staff.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
