Commercial Property Lawyer

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on nationally significant commercial and industrial property projects within a global organisation that supports professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review and negotiate documentation for construction, consultancy, and development projects. Ensure timely completion and high quality results.
  • Advise on land acquisitions, estate land sales, divestments, and major project transactions. Provide strategic guidance and support to business teams.
  • Support commercial and industrial leasing matters, including agreements for lease and finalisation of leasing documentation. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Manage due diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and Q&A. Maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain precedents, templates, and confidentiality agreements in line with risk parameters. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure consistency and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with business teams to find practical solutions that balance legal risk and commercial objectives. Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risks.
About You:
  • 5+ years' PQE in a law firm or in-house environment, with a strong property focus. Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience in leasing, acquisitions, and large-scale property transactions. Proven track record of delivering results under pressure.
  • Commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Admitted to practise in Australia with a current practising certificate.
