Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Macro Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing cutting-edge Carrier refrigeration systems into new refrigeration trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install Carrier air conditioning systems into large square trucks and 40ft trailers.
  • Execute precise pipework and ensure all installations meet high-quality standards.
  • Perform additional installations of GPS, solar panels, and water separators on units.
Requirements
  • Experience installing refrigeration systems, running pipework, commissioning new systems, and correct evacuation procedures.
  • Cert 3 in Refrigeration or equivalent.
  • Current Refrigeration License.
  • Forklift License (preferred but not essential; training provided).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Police check
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding, involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Precision is critical: you will be drilling and fitting components on high-value trucks, requiring steady hands and keen attention to detail.
