**Job Description**:
**About the role**:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced **RMA Officer **to join our team at Blacktown manufacturing site. Reporting to the Plant Manager the key purpose of this position is to evaluate all RMAs (Returns Materials Authorisation), or factory/warehouse faults, and assemble Parts/Accessories for sub-assemblies and Finished Goods. This is a permanent full-time hands-on role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm.

**On a day-to-day basis you will**:

- Draw up services or repair all TZ / Hitachi job orders for approval.
- Perform the rework/repairs/service in accordance to approved job.
- Support in the replenishment of Finished Goods spare parts
- Record all activities, generate service/repairs reports, after executing the tasks to high quality standards and leveraging on LEAN Six Sigma tools.
- Analyse and report on trends in relation to the failure of parts or components
- Assist with the issuing of recall notices.
- Update Quality team on all RMAs.
- Liaise with the OEM and departments within TZ regarding trends and correction actions.

**Qualifications**:
**What you will bring to the role**:

- 3-5 years' experience in servicing and repairs of commercial and domestic HVAC units, either as a field technician or factory repairs or facilities.
- Trade Certification as a Refrigeration Mechanic, this could be a Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Certificate III in Electrotechnology Refrigeration and Air conditioning.
- Practical experience in testing, fault finding and repairs.

**Highly Desirable**:

- Field Technician who would like to transition to stable workshop environment.
- Experienced Technician who has worked in RMA departments.
- Experience with Hitachi and Temperzone units.
- Refrigerant handling license.
