Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills? We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to manage material purchases and ensure product availability meets business requirements. The successful candidate will utilize MRP principles and inventory policies to maintain a consistent flow of materials into the production facility.

The incumbent will work closely with procurement to minimize supply disruptions and lead times, review operational consumable cost improvement opportunities, and provide input to strategic planning meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate master data for MRP controllers responsible for safety stocks, lead time, and lot size procedures
  • Collaborate with procurement to reduce supply chain inefficiencies
  • Raise purchase orders based on required dates and engage in problem-solving related to service levels for production planners and first-line managers
  • Ensure timely delivery dates on all open orders
  • Work closely with market teams to understand demand priorities, timelines, and customer requirements
  • Analyze reasons for on-time-in-full (OTIF) failures for purchased finished goods and provide recommendations to improve performance
  • Investigate root cause analyses for late deliveries and excess inventory
  • Maintain a development plan aligned with business objectives
  • Adhere to standard work processes for daily, monthly, and quarterly activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain management or a related field
  • Previous experience with SAP or ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant software
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Additional qualifications: APICS certification or equivalent
