Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials into our operations.
- Maintain accurate master data for MRP controllers responsible for managing safety stocks, lead times, and lot sizes.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to review opportunities to reduce supply disruptions, lead times, and lot sizes.
- Raise purchase orders or stock transfer orders based on SAP required dates, confirm purchases based on supplier feedback, and engage in problem-solving related to service levels for production planners and first-line managers.
- Maintain correct delivery dates for all open orders.
- Work closely with market teams to ensure agreed understanding of demand, including priorities, timelines, and customer requirements.
- Report on reasons for on-time-in-full (OTIF) failures for purchased finished goods and provide input to strategic planning meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain optimization.
- Prior experience with SAP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management).
- APICS certification preferred but not required.
