Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead all aspects of the site
  • Experience managing budgets and demonstrated understanding of food costing, waste management, and safety knowledge
  • Deliver high expectations of a premium experience
  • Follow health, safety, and security procedures
  • Lead, manage, and motivate a large team of chefs and facility staff
  • Manage client and resident expectations
  • Strong background in Facilities Management with proven experience overseeing cleaning, maintenance, and asset management operations in remote environments
  • Demonstrated capability in operational management of FM services, including planning, execution, compliance, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing a medium to large site with knowledge of culinary and cleaning services
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities
  • Drive a positive team culture
  • Experience with financial reporting and be commercial and contract focused
  • Demonstrated background of delivering profitable business results
  • Ability to drive stakeholder engagement and deliver superior service levels
  • Display excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety, commitment to safety to ensure targets are safely achieved
  • Sound Knowledge of HACCP
  • Ability to adapt quickly to ongoing business needs
  • Facilities Management experience is essential, including oversight of hard and soft services, compliance, and contractor management
