Empowering Lives: Disability Support Worker Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support workforce, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing flexible and individualised support.
Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate participant involvement in daily activities and living skills programs across all services. You will work collaboratively with participants, their families, and other stakeholders to create tailored support plans that promote independence, choice, and dignity.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- 100 points of ID (Citizenship/Passport/Driver License/Visa & Granted Form, Medicare Card or government Issued Document)
- Police Clearance
- First Aid + CPR
- Manual Handling
- Medication certificate
- Car Rego
- Car Insurance Comprehensive
- Covid-19 Vaccinations 3 dose

Others
- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Experience working as a disability support worker, preferrable
- Computer literate
- Transporting participants to medical and other appointments, and social activities as required
