Your Role:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing daily activities for our clients, including personal care, domestic assistance, and community access. You will work night shifts in a concierge-style facility, responding to client needs throughout the night.
You will have experience working with clients who have complex needs, including mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries, cognitive disorders, and physical disabilities. Your goal will be to provide high-quality support that enables our clients to live their best life and achieve their goals.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience supporting clients with complex needs, including medication assistance and diabetes management
- Working knowledge of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and its impact on daily life
- Manual handling and hoisting skills, including safe moving and transferring techniques
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent qualification
- Australian driver's license and a fully insured vehicle
Your Certificates and Licenses:
- NDIS worker screening check
- Working with Children Check
- First aid and CPR certification
