Leisure and Recreational Activities Assistant

As a Leisure and Recreational Activities Assistant, you will provide and facilitate group and individual leisure activities for residents.

  • Assist with the design, delivery, and monitoring of lifestyle services and complementary therapies for residents.
  • Coordinate engaging individual and group activities and therapies to meet the needs of residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure activities are safe and beneficial for residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lifestyle services and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Individual Support.
  • Previous experience working in aged care or a related field.
  • Understanding of person-centred care principles and practices.
