Home Care Worker Opportunity

Make a positive impact on someone's life and become a part of our dedicated team providing home help services to our aged care clients.

We are looking for individuals who can provide assistance with daily tasks, such as:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.

This is a casual role with a view to permanent part-time positions. You will be working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, award rate $38.56 per hour + Super + Paid KM's, as well as opportunities to develop and grow in your career through accelerated learning programs and training education.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Open class Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
  • The ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families

We also require all applicants to complete a National Police check, Work Rights check and confirm their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencement.
