Import Operations/Customer Service Role

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage import processes for our clients. The role offers great variety with responsibilities including:

  1. Receiving shipment pre-alerts and specifications prior to departure
  2. Monitoring import status to coordinate carriers and reception commitments
  3. Processing import documentation for air and sea freight shipments
  4. Experienced in using Cargowise software
  5. Ensuring efficient import processes to expedite clearance and delivery

The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  1. Proven experience in import operations within a freight forwarder
  2. Excellent attention to detail
  3. Well-developed negotiation, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  4. Full working rights within the Australian market
