Senior Engineer - Building Envelopes Specialist

The Sydney office is currently on the lookout for a Senior Façade Engineer. This position is part of the Technical Specialists group, focusing on consulting services in façade diagnostics and existing structures. You will collaborate with a diverse team of façade engineers, both locally and globally, on a variety of significant and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy in your designated area, with accountability for specific components of design projects.
  • Manage client relationships associated with your projects.
  • Ensure the financial viability of your projects.
  • Oversee the quality and precision of your work and that of your colleagues.
  • Act as a representative for your team in client interactions and internal discussions.

Is This Position Suitable for You?

  • Possess recognized qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Materials, Façade, Civil, Architectural, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading remedial façade initiatives, serving as the primary contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Preferred knowledge of issues related to building structures, façades, and construction materials.
  • Familiarity with potential enhancements (performance, durability, comfort) for building façades is advantageous.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and contract management is beneficial.
  • A qualification and experience in Industrial Rope Access is preferred but not mandatory; however, a willingness to undergo training in this area is desirable.
