Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate Recreation and Lifestyle Coordinator who is eager to make a significant impact in the lives of our residents. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on facilitating a variety of activities that enrich the lives of our residents. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement engaging activity programs that align with our person-centered care philosophy, while also supervising and mentoring your team to foster a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver meaningful activity programs tailored to the diverse needs of residents.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Enhance the health and wellbeing of residents through creative and engaging activities.
  • Adapt programs to ensure inclusivity for all residents, including those with specific challenges.
  • Maintain a safe environment by adhering to WHS principles.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Cert III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing engaging activity programs.
  • Excellent computer proficiency.
  • A valid unrestricted driver’s license, with a willingness to obtain a bus license.
  • A creative flair, particularly in arts and crafts.
  • A genuine passion for enhancing the daily lives of others.
