Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader who thrives on empowering residents to live fulfilling lives. This role involves overseeing and coordinating a variety of activities designed to enrich the lives of our residents. Your primary focus will be on developing engaging and meaningful activity programs, grounded in our person-centered care philosophy. You will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring your team, playing a crucial role in enhancing the health and wellbeing of our cherished residents.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in Leisure and Lifestyle roles.
- A background in delivering person-centered care, particularly for residents with dementia and complex needs.
- Ability to create inclusive and engaging activity programs.
- Cert III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability to individual needs.
- Knowledge of WHS principles to ensure resident safety.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in team management.
- Experience in planning and executing engaging activities.
- Proficient computer skills.
- An unrestricted driver's license.
- A bus license or willingness to obtain one.
- A creative flair for arts and crafts.
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in residents' lives.
