The Role
We are seeking an experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activity programs, supervising and mentoring staff, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working in leisure and lifestyle, with a focus on person-centered care;
- Cert III Individual Support or Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle;
- Proven skills in adapting to individual needs to communicate effectively;
- Good understanding of WHS principles to ensure the ongoing safety of our residents;
- Strong people management skills and experience leading a team;
- Proven experience planning and implementing engaging activity programs;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Unrestricted driver's license;
- Bus license or willingness to obtain;
- Highly creative and able to engage residents in arts and crafts;
- Passion for making a positive difference in someone's day.
