
Office Administrator for Tribal Affairs

This role is ideal for individuals who excel in administration, possess excellent communication skills and are detail-oriented.
As a key member of our team, the Tribal Office Coordinator plays a vital part in facilitating information exchange and delivering services to tribal members.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to facilitate information exchange and delivery of services
- Assist in gathering information on tribal member needs and forward it to regional planning efforts
- Establish and maintain filing systems and office procedures
- Receive visitors, answer phone calls and disseminate information
- Assist with enrollment, financial reports and other reports as needed
- Schedule meetings and conferences for Tribal Council
- Record and transcribe minutes for Tribal Council meetings
- Compose letters and respond to routine correspondence
- Manage day-to-day office operations for the Tribal Council
- Assist tribal members with application forms and information requests
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with SOPs
- Read system messages and implement changes as necessary
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications
