We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer (A03) to commence asap within a Government Department located in Brisbane CBD.

**Applicants will need to have**:

- Previous administration experience in an aligned role (exposure to finance/purchasing tasks preferred)
- Proven ability to organise and manage time and workload effectively
- Current Queensland Drivers Licence
- Skilled in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning and using a range of technology
- Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (minimum 45wpm)

**In this role you will provide administration support to a busy office, including**:

- Obtaining quotes and purchasing stationery/consumables and other equipment/assets as required
- Processing payment of invoices to suppliers
- Credit card reconciliations
- Reporting facility issues and organising/co-ordinating contractors to attend site for repairs
- Organising fleet requirements including ordering new vehicles, booking servicing requirements (drivers licence will be required to drop off/pick-up departmental vehicles for servicing) and maintaining records
- Associated administration and recordkeeping tasks
