A temporary role has become available within a Government Department located in Brisbane CBD for an experienced Administration Officer. The role will be responsible for providing high quality, confidential administrative support such as:
- Secretarial support including diary and calendar management
- Screening calls and re-directing enquries as needed
- Co-ordinating meetings, conferences and appointments
- Managing travel and accommodation bookings
- Tracking, distributing, and drafting correspondence
- Preparing payment requisitions and reports as needed
- Records management
- Managing petty cask, stationery supplies, and the cab charge register
- Ad hoc administrative tasks as required
- Previous administrative experience
- Good time management
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sound keyboarding skills (40wpm at 98% accuracy)
- Intermediate MS Office Suite skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
