This is an exciting opportunity to join the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a Senior Workplace Relations Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality consulting services to our members, customers, and clients in all aspects of workplace relations and employment legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Providing verbal and written advice on workplace relations and employment legislation
- Conducting information or education sessions on workplace relations and employment legislation
- Delivering professional fee-for-service consulting services, including modern award interpretation, wage and condition audits, workplace investigations, Fair Work Commission representation, enterprise agreement assistance, performance management, and termination advice
- Developing and implementing best practice solutions to solve complex workplace relations issues
- Tertiary qualifications in law, HR, or IR (or equivalent industry experience)
- Substantial experience dealing with complex issues across a range of workplace environments
- Depth of experience and successful delivery in several areas, including conducting workplace investigations, negotiating enterprise agreements, and providing high-quality advice on HR/IR matters
- Ability to manage complex claims involving external parties and representatives
- Proven ability to write professional formal documents, including policies, letters, and reports
- Ability to build business relationships and actively seek business opportunities
