Rehabilitation Psychologist Job

We are seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Psychologist to manage a portfolio of clients with psychological or physical injuries. This role involves providing rehabilitation support with flexible work options and a strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of clients with complex needs, including those with psychological or physical injuries.
  • Conducting initial assessments and identifying suitable goals for each client.
  • Identifying barriers preventing clients from returning to work and developing strategies to overcome them.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to organise appropriate interventions and ensuring timely graduated return to work.
  • Providing vocational counselling and conducting vocational assessments to help clients achieve their employment goals.
  • Attending medical appointments with clients and communicating with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment.
  • Preparing reports after assessments and meetings to document case notes and track client progress.
Requirements:
  • Hold a 4th year Psychology Graduate status.
  • Be an Associate or Full member with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor (Graduates with an honours degree in Psychology are eligible).
  • Be registered with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist.
  • Have a valid Driver's license and access to a car.
  • Be willing to undergo a police check prior to commencement.
