About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Northern Operations business. In this role, you will partner with the Northern business to provide Employee Relations services which support site HR teams, business objectives, a high-performance culture and employee engagement. These services include performance management advice, management of investigations, and supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and strategic initiatives.

Your business partners will include the Northern head office, processing plants, and feedlots across Queensland and New South Wales.

  • Support site HR teams on Employee Relations matters, including performance management, investigations, and employee engagement.
  • Build site HR teams' knowledge in the Employee Relations space.
  • Support Northern team office across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Act as the HR point of escalation to support and guide site-based HR teams.
  • Support the implementation of Group and/or Northern strategic HR initiatives.
  • Assist with the development, review and implementation of northern HR policies, procedures, guidelines and templates.
  • Support talent and succession activities, including 360 and 9-box processes and calibration sessions.
  • Lead senior workplace investigations and performance management processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements and more efficient ways of working.
  • Lead, develop and coach HR and site leadership teams.
  • Provide advice and support employee engagement activities.
  • Support a positive industrial relations environment.
About You
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience in a similar Employee Relations or HR Business Partner role is necessary.
  • Prior experience in FMCG and/or other relevant industry is preferred.
  • You must have the ability to manage varied and conflicting demands.
  • You will need advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • You should be able to work autonomously, while also being a collaborative team member.
  • You should be highly proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • You will require excellent attention to detail.
  • You must have demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
