Salary

We offer an award rate of $38.26 per hour, plus superannuation and paid kilometers. Additionally, you will receive a phone allowance and discounts on car maintenance.

Job Description

As a Home Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to enable our customers to maintain their independence and dignity at home. You will also be required to assist with meal preparation and shopping, as well as providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.

  • Domestic Assistance: Assist our customers with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Personal Care: Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, once trained.
  • Social Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to our customers, helping them to stay connected with their community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in a similar role, preferably with a focus on personal care. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience: 6 months or more in a similar role, with a focus on personal care.
  • License: A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
