About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in empowering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our elderly clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Personalised Support: Provide essential support to empower independence and enhance the quality of life for our clients in their own homes.
  • Transportation: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities, promoting their wellbeing and connectivity with the community.
  • Household Assistance: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation, ensuring our clients' daily needs are met.

What We Are Looking For

  • Passion for Caregiving: Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, but a strong desire to begin a career in aged care is highly valued.
  • Empathy and Resourcefulness: Embody Uniting's values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness, providing high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each client.
  • Flexibility: Be able to accommodate the evolving needs and schedules of our clients, adapting your approach to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Professional Qualifications: Hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your commitment to delivering exceptional care.

  • Competitive Salary: Earn a maximum allowable salary of $34.76 per hour + 99c per km, plus paid travel time and reimbursement for kilometres travelled.
