Paediatrics and Child Health Discipline Lead

We are a private Catholic University with over 1,000 permanent staff providing an exceptional educational experience to over 12,000 students across our Fremantle, Broome, and Sydney campuses.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with academic and professional administrative colleagues to provide effective support to the Head of Discipline and Head of Clinical School.
**Job Description**
This is a part-time opportunity (0.2), Continuing contract position with a salary range of $138,367– $158,744 pa (Level C) + 14.25% superannuation (pro-rata).
The role involves contributing to curriculum review and development, teaching activities as required relevant to Paediatrics and Child Health, conducting regular formative assessments, and attending meetings as necessary.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conducting weekly teaching ward rounds or equivalent with students.
- Providing Clinical Skills Training sessions on Paediatrics and Child Health.
- Attending assessment and evaluation activities throughout the academic year including OSCEs.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medical Practitioner.
- Hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fellowship in a relevant discipline.
- Experience in teaching in a health context.
