Apartment Hotel Management Opportunity

This is a full-time position for an experienced Apartment Hotel Manager or Management Couple to oversee the daily operations of our apartment hotel in Launceston, Tasmania.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the apartment hotel's daily operations, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, scheduling, and management of the hotel team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive occupancy and revenue through effective marketing, pricing, and yield management.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure the property is well-presented at all times.
  • Improve operational efficiency by developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting for the hotel.
  • Identify and address maintenance and repair issues to maintain the property.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and handle guest enquiries, feedback, and complaints.
Requirements
  • Significant experience (3+ years) in a hotel or apartment management role, preferably in a similar size and style of property.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • A proven track record in driving occupancy, revenue, and profitability.
  • Hands-on experience managing all aspects of hotel operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
  • Working knowledge of property maintenance and repair requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
