About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and modification of the EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and modification of EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment
  • Aircraft flight-line handling and servicing duties
  • Removal and installation of aircraft components
  • Disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components
  • Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment
  • Inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair, and fault diagnosis of components and systems
Requirements
  • Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical)
  • Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation
  • Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft
  • Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organisational goals
  • Flexibility with working hours and locations
  • Hold or be able to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements
  • Willingness to reside in Oakey area
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current B1.3 MAML or the ability to obtain
  • Cert IV Structures
  • Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft
  • EC135 series Aircraft Type course
  • Safran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance training
