About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics to join our team at Sikorsky Australia, a Lockheed Martin Company. As an Avionics Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing heavy maintenance activities on the MH-60R Seahawk helicopter.

Our team is dedicated to providing full sustainment solutions, training, and end-to-end logistics support for the Royal Australian Navy's fleet of MH-60R Seahawk helicopters. As a Rotary Wing Maintenance Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on the most advanced maritime helicopter in the world and become a master of your trade. You will be exposed to entire aircraft deeper-level, intermediate, and operational-level maintenance, structural repair, incorporation of major modifications, component inspections, squadron support mobile repair, aircraft storage and preservation, aircraft painting, and operational test flight support on the flight line.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance activities on the MH-60R Seahawk helicopter
  • Conduct structural repair, incorporation of major modifications, and component inspections
  • Provide squadron support mobile repair, aircraft storage and preservation, and aircraft painting
  • Support operational test flight on the flight line

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Aeroskills (Avionics)
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance
