Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate vehicle operations for the pickup and delivery of customer products in accordance with expectations.
  • Develop and maintain efficient fleet solutions for customers.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure all tasks are completed for the day in line with customer expectations and safety/compliance guidelines.
  • Escalate any service or safety incidents to the on-shift supervisor.
  • Develop utilization and deployment plans that reflect real-time fleet capability.
  • Update KPI dashboards communicated to key stakeholders within the business.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate the maintenance schedule to ensure maximum fleet utilization and minimum disruption to operations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in scheduling/allocating within transport/logistics (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of rail, road, and coastal transport operations including administration processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
