Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild and change their lives. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our passionate team in Hobart as a Liaison Officer.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high levels of supportive engagement when veterans and their families access services.
  • Design and implement social connection activities for positive health outcomes.
  • Promote social connection activities through various channels to encourage maximum participation.
  • Represent Mates4Mates at external events to promote awareness of holistic approach to veteran and family support and recovery.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • A relevant history of training or service in the Australian Defence Force or demonstrated experience working with current or ex-service personnel.
  • Ability to self-start and self-manage own and others' performance.
  • High levels of self-awareness and ability to adjust your communication style to suit your audience.
  • Flexibility in approach to work when unplanned demands conflict with meeting deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer skills including use of social media to engage with clients and undertake administration tasks.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills gained from experience in various contexts.
