Job Opportunity: Fundraising and Community Development Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted fundraising initiatives, strengthening relationships with donors, and contributing to the development of a self-sustaining funding pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising Initiatives:
    • Plan and execute major fundraising campaigns and events in line with the organisation's strategic priorities and operational needs.
    • Develop and implement structured donor programs designed to increase retention and lifetime value.
  • Donor Engagement:
    • Maintain regular and tailored fundraising communications to maintain engagement between campaigns and programs.
    • Coordinate and steward community fundraising activities to support smaller donor relationships and contribute to broader strategic fundraising initiatives.
  • Content Development:
    • Develop and update fundraising content across digital channels to ensure consistent, values-aligned messaging.
  • Data Management:
    • Ensure the accurate use of the donor CRM, including updating records, developing systems for effective data management, and generating reports to inform fundraising strategy and track performance.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in a fundraising role, preferably with donor engagement and campaign delivery responsibilities.
  • Credentials: Current Driver's Licence, Working with Vulnerable People Check, Current Police Check.
