Strategic Treasury Manager Role

Aussie Broadband is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Manager to lead our treasury operations and ensure financial efficiency across the Group.

This pivotal role is responsible for managing daily cash flow, banking relationships, intercompany funding, and financial risk, while ensuring compliance and delivering insightful reporting to senior leadership.

  • Developing plans and overseeing the transactional banking RFP process, assisting with the evaluation of banking partners, and implementing migration plans to banking partners.

  • Managing intercompany cash balances to minimize FX impacts and repatriate cash, ensuring all movements comply with the Group Intercompany Funding Policy.

  • Maintaining and strengthening relationships with external banking partners, ensuring consistent controls and compliance with internal policies.

  • Managing bank loans, financial covenant reporting, executing FX hedges to mitigate currency risk, and ensuring timely payments of interest and fees.

  • Providing monthly reporting to the board and senior management on the cash flow and liquidity position of the Group.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in finance, preferably in a treasury or accounting role.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Experience in financial planning, insight, and review.

  • Expertise in MS Excel, with the ability to develop complex models.

  • Able to think innovatively and challenge existing norms.

  • A self-starter and self-motivated individual who is able to work independently.
