You'll play a pivotal role in managing financial resources and mitigating risks in a dynamic market. Drawing upon your expertise in treasury operations and financial analysis, you'll support the Treasury Manager in optimising liquidity, executing transactions, and implementing hedging strategies.

  • Cash flow forecasting and analysis to optimise liquidity management and ensure adequate funding for operational needs.
  • Daily cash positioning, including monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, and executing cash transfers as required.
  • Treasury transactions, including money market, foreign exchange, and interest rate derivatives, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities impacting the company's treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing hedging strategies to mitigate exposure to risks.

Maintain relationships with banking partners and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient treasury operations.

Support the Treasury Manager in evaluating and negotiating banking services and other financial instruments.

Prepare accurate and timely treasury reports, presentations, and analysis for senior management and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or related roles, preferably within the energy industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, markets, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
