Market Development Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a Market Development Manager role. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing markets and generating demands and opportunities in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans for seeding and going to market with new products and technologies.
  • Identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize market leads and opportunities to influence purchases and specifications with key end users and influencers.
  • Form relationships with potential regional customers outside of the current revenue stream.
  • Recommend ongoing improvements to the Market Development program to support regional business.
  • Develop and execute educational programs, presentations, conferences, seminars, clinics, and other events with Sales Management and Applications Engineering.
  • Develop methods for evaluating effectiveness and user adoption.
  • Provide input to Product Planners and Product Marketing Specialists on the Company's product lines.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of proven experience developing markets and generating demands and opportunities in Latin America.
  • Technical knowledge of audio principles is a plus.
  • Language skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English required. Portuguese highly desired.
