Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor
About the RoleThis permanent role is based locally to the Gold Coast and involves working with a national industry leader in the staircases industry.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor who can oversee manufacturing operations, ensure efficient production, and make decisions directly relating to duties and the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor and coordinate the activities of production employees, assigning tasks, and ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop production schedules that align with customer demands and optimise resource allocation.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify training needs within the production team and develop training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Previous supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Leadership experience and understanding of manufacturing and production operations.
- High level of attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and organisation.
- Forklift (LF) license is preferred but not mandatory.
