Community Sports Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Community Sports Coordinator to join our team in driving grassroots engagement across schools, affiliates, and events in Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering school clinics, organising gala days, come & try days, and development days, as well as managing sporting schools bookings and coach assignments. They will also oversee referee and coaching education courses via The Nest, service and support Touch Football affiliates across Victoria, manage and grow TFV's digital presence, and support the delivery of TFV events throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and deliver school clinics (primary and secondary)
  • Organise Gala Days, Come & Try Days and Development Days
  • Manage Sporting Schools bookings and coach assignments
  • Organise referee and coaching education courses via The Nest
  • Service and support Touch Football affiliates across Victoria
  • Manage and grow TFV's digital presence
  • Support delivery of TFV events throughout the year
Requirements:
  • A team player with the ability to self-manage and work independently
  • A passion for community sport and engaging with young people
  • Experience using social media platforms for business or sport promotion
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Foundation Coaching or Level 1 Referee Accreditation
