Mindful Sport Support Specialist

The role of a Mental Health Adviser is to support the delivery of high performance sport wellbeing and engagement programs by providing mental health education and support to athletes, coaches, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored mental health education and training programs for athletes, coaches, and staff.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain relationships that optimize athlete wellbeing.
We are seeking a qualified professional with experience in delivering mental health education and support. The ideal candidate will have:
- Full Registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse.
- Registration with relevant governing bodies.
- Experience in triaging and referring mental health cases.
- Knowledge of current professional networks and referral options.
- Updated knowledge of issues impacting mental health and wellbeing in high performance sport.
Applications from individuals with experience in policy development or program evaluation, particularly in high performance sport or government organizations, are welcome.
