Senior Partnership Executive

Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful partnerships across Queensland and globally, fostering strategic collaborations that meet university goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and manage collaborative opportunities with multiple partners and stakeholders, focusing on the health sector.
  • Develop and manage a set of partnerships for the University with various stakeholders/targets, including partner liaison, partnership prospectus, proposal writing, and presentations to grow current and potential partnerships.
  • Engage with Academic Groups to identify, develop, and lead business development for impact spanning research, education, and training projects and programs.
  • Partner with Central Portfolios (including Research, Advancement, and Marketing & Communications) to progress activities aligning partnership for impact.
  • Liaise, consult, and work closely with key external stakeholders to ensure synergies are optimized, promoting Griffith and its unique capabilities.
  • Provide strategic advice, expert negotiation, and professional expertise in developing all relevant partnership agreements and documentation, meeting legislative, University, and policy requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications and substantial experience in business development, value creation, opportunity identification, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and deal-making skills.
  • Experience in leading strategic projects, implementing plans, managing resources, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Proficient in crafting high-level communications for diverse audiences and conveying complex issues clearly and persuasively.
  • Competent in facilitating collaboration agreements with legal and commercial departments.
  • Adept in stakeholder management, leadership, and higher education administration.
  • Prior experience or background in the health sector would be highly regarded.
