Future-Focused Building Operations Expert

We're seeking a diligent and strategic Building Operations Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our commercial properties in Sydney's inner-city area.

Your primary objective will be to deliver exceptional client service, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to company growth by driving operational excellence through:

  • Exceptional client service and building occupier engagement
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation, plant/equipment operation, safety/risk compliance, and recommending improvements
  • Coordinating contractors and monitoring performance and compliance with contracts and essential safety measures
  • Assisting Property Managers and Owners with operating and capital budgets for properties
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to Property Managers and Owners
  • Monitoring and addressing faults in plant and equipment servicing sites
  • Emphasizing environmental sustainability by maintaining NABERS certification records
  • Conducting inspections for reporting and auditing purposes
  • Aiding in formulating maintenance and service contracts and tendering services
  • Displaying knowledge of technical services, especially HVAC, BAS, fire safety, and electrical systems
  • Exhibiting property industry experience in building services/facilities management
  • Understanding compliance and risk management requirements
  • Contractor management experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle complex issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on exceeding operational performance targets
