Job Summary
This Tax Professional role requires a strategic approach to provide expert tax advisory and compliance services. A trusted advisor will operate as a business partner, providing technical income tax guidance to commercial and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert tax advisory and compliance services
- Act as a business partner for technical income tax guidance
- Operate as a trusted advisor for complex direct tax matters
- Manage tax risks and contribute to tax compliance efforts
- Partner with external authorities for effective compliance
- Mentor and support junior team members
- A minimum 5–7 years' experience in corporate income tax
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Law with relevant professional qualification (CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience advising on transactions, due diligence, contract negotiations, and complex income tax issues
- Experience managing income tax returns, PAYG, R&D tax incentives, and familiarity with Australian taxation law
- Tax team that advises on major deals, transactions, and risk
- Drive impact through tax structuring, compliance, and business partnering
- Full-time permanent opportunity located in Sydney or Adelaide CBD
