Job Title: Tax Compliance Specialist

A key player in global tax compliance and project support, contributing proactively to the company's growth and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities:
  • Global Tax Compliance & Reporting:
    • Oversight of tax compliance ensuring adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
    • Review of tax returns and other relevant direct/indirect tax filings prepared by external service providers.
  • Project Level and Transactional Tax Support:
    • Expert guidance on tax structuring and tax assumptions for new development projects and transactions.
    • Collaboration with project development, investment, finance, and legal teams to identify tax implications.
  • Tax Risk Management:
    • Management and coordination of external tax advisors globally to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of tax services.
    • Identification, assessment, and mitigation of tax risks across all jurisdictions and company activities.
  • Withholding Tax & Indirect Tax (Oversight):
    • Oversight of withholding tax obligations on cross-border payments.
    • Guidance on indirect tax matters as they pertain to project development, construction, and cross-border transactions.

Key qualifications include a relevant professional tax qualification, 5+ years post-qualified progressive tax experience, and excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
