We're seeking a driven professional to lead our Inclusion and Diversity agenda, shaping Early Careers programs that attract, develop, and retain a diverse and talented workforce.

  • Spearhead diversity strategy development and implement impactful programs across the organisation.
  • Design and deliver graduate, intern, and apprenticeship programs that foster the next generation of aviation professionals.
  • This full-time role is based in Melbourne.

You'll report to the Head of Organisational Development and be responsible for:

  • Executing our I&D strategy, embedding inclusive practices throughout recruitment, development, and workforce planning.
  • Developing initiatives that increase representation of First Nations peoples, women in underrepresented roles, and people living with disability.
  • Managing Early Careers initiatives, including graduates, interns, apprenticeships, and school-based programs, creating strong talent pipelines for the future.
  • Partnering with senior leaders, universities, schools, industry bodies, and community partners to strengthen our brand and impact.
  • Providing thought leadership and insights to inform business decisions, backed by robust data and reporting.
About You
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Inclusion & Diversity, Organisational Development, or generalist HR.
  • A proven track record of delivering practical I&D programs and early talent initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management capability.
  • Energy, resilience, and adaptability in fast-paced, complex environments.
  • Degree qualifications in Business, HR, or a related discipline are desirable.

Qualifications

Candidate Requirements

A degree qualification in Business and/or Human Resources is required. A minimum of 5 years' experience in Inclusion & Diversity, Organisational Development, or generalist HR is also necessary. Functional knowledge of Jetstar operations is highly regarded.
