Job Description

Job Summary:

The Engineering Director - Regional and Vertical Expertise will be responsible for delivering best-in-class engineering support to our clients, driving quality, optimizing costs, and reducing carbon emissions. This role will involve collaborating with various teams, including Operations Excellence, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE), and engineering talent across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive business growth and retention in the region.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality engineering services to clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage and optimize engineering budgets and resources to ensure efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance engineering skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct site evaluations and due diligence efforts to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other regions to share best practices and leverage expertise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering operations in the facilities management industry.
  • University degree in engineering, preferably electrical or mechanical.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
  • Strong understanding of engineering delivery, commercial implications, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
