  • **Project Management**: Manage software development projects, setting requirements, goals, and timelines, and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • **Budget Management**: Assist with the preparation and management of the engineering department's budget.
  • **Strategic Planning**: Design strategies for future development projects based on the company's overall objectives and resources.
  • **Talent Acquisition**: Hire engineers and coordinate their training, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and expertise.
  • **Innovation**: Implement innovative technologies and solutions to stay ahead of the competition.
  • **Stakeholder Management**: Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • **Policy Development**: Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements

  • **Work Experience**: At least 5 years of experience as a director of engineering or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department.
  • **Enterprise Architecture**: Experience with enterprise architectures and modern human-computer interfaces.
  • **Technical Skills**: Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • **Leadership**: Strong leadership abilities, with a strategic mind and excellent project management skills.
  • **Education**: BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
  • **Bonus**: Knowledge of Ethereum and blockchain in general is a plus.
