About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Vintage Assistant Winemaker to join our team at Tintara Winery in McLaren Vale. As a key member of our winemaking team, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of our premium wines.
Key Responsibilities:Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Working closely with our winemaking team to create high-quality wines
- Preparing work orders within specifications
- Participating in daily ferment tastings
- Overseeing daily grape intake and processing
- Ensuring compliance with wine specifications
- Driving exceptional levels of winery hygiene and general housekeeping
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Full working rights
- A passion for wine and winemaking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and energy
- A willingness to get your hands dirty
- A tertiary qualification in winemaking or a related science
Desirable qualifications include previous vintage winemaking experience and a forklift license.
