
Financial Performance Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our Finance division and contribute to driving business performance. This role will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to provide insights that improve margins, manage cash flow, and inform strategic decisions.
A key focus of the position is embedding digital transformation into the finance function by leveraging automation, data analytics, and BI tools to deliver faster, more accurate, and more insightful reporting.
Your Key Responsibilities- Prepare management reports, variance analysis, dashboards, and cash flow forecasts.
- Analyse project performance, WIP, costs, margins, and profitability.
- Partner with project managers and operational teams to understand business drivers and KPIs.
- Support bids, tenders, and strategic projects with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Assist in evaluating CAPEX, JVs, pricing, and margin strategies.
- Drive automation and digital reporting improvements using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAP.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline finance processes.
You are a tertiary qualified professional in accounting, finance, or commerce with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Commercial Analyst/Finance Analyst role. You possess sound Excel and financial modelling skills, experience within ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards, and are familiar with BI or data visualisation tools. You are adept at translating complex data sets into impactful business insights and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
