This is a position within a new self-insurance business operation, focusing on building a customer-focused service team and driving improved business performance.
As a Performance Management Specialist, you will work collaboratively within the Performance Improvement Team to develop innovative best-practice claims management strategies to drive improved business performance. Primary objectives include supporting corporate targets, maximising remuneration, and improving operational and quality measure results.
Responsibilities- Assist in realising organisational goals by aligning processes and driving efficient results
- Translate business plans into action plans; monitor and review plans through to completion
- Identify, analyse, and improve business processes to meet current goals and identify new ones to enhance profit and performance
- Re-engineer processes to reduce cost and cycle time and improve quality of production and service where appropriate
- Analyse scheme and DXC performance data to identify performance against remuneration objectives and areas for improvement
- Contribute to development of new initiatives, strategies, and processes to achieve gains in business performance with the Continuous Improvement Team
- Assist Senior Management Team with planning and strategic orientation
- Provide direction to staff on selected components and aspects of their work as required
- Provide training, coaching and mentoring to help employees reach objectives and enable progression
- Understanding of Workers Compensation Legislation, regulations and guidelines
- Strong understanding of governing standards of practice
- Strong understanding of and remuneration drivers
- Experience with GWCC, CRM Salesforce, QLIK reporting and other scheme systems (e.g., Kofax, Payments Plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong self-management and organisational skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and adaptability to change
- Effective consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
- Innovative and lateral thinking
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Relationship building and customer service focus
