Job Title: Customer Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our team at Philips Iberica SAU. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the medical equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation of medical equipment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, to ensure seamless customer support and sales processes.
  • Participate in the sales process and provide expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of customer relationships.
  • Manage and support technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on progress according to company process.
  • Determine the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
  • Work reasonable additional hours outside business hours as necessary to efficiently and effectively carry out the job role.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing service engineering background within the medical equipment or Biomedical industry.
  • Experience with DXR, CT, and MRI would be advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Full AU driver's license and Police Check will form part of the recruitment process.
