Board Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic individual to join our Board of Directors as an appointed member.

  • Ambitious transformation experience, with a proven track record in guiding large-scale business and digital transformation;
  • Expertise in overseeing strategic people and culture change, ideally with experience in developing workforce and volunteer management models for membership organisations or similar entities;
  • Strategic economic outlook and positioning, including knowledge of capital markets and a demonstrated understanding of the future value of engineering in the Australian economy.

As a valued member of our Board, you will play a crucial role in stewarding our organisation through significant business and digital transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to drive strategic initiatives that showcase the role engineering plays in Australia's economic future and address major societal challenges.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Transformational leadership experience at a Board or CEO level;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for driving positive change and innovation;
  • Leadership and integrity, with a strong sense of purpose and direction.

The term of appointment will be 2 years, with potential for re-appointment by the Board at its discretion.
