Project Coordinator Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the delivery of critical infrastructure projects in Queensland. As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in supporting construction supervisors and project managers in delivering programs of work across the state.

  • Proactively forecast and plan in accordance with program objectives and client expectations, ensuring project deadlines are met
  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials to meet construction schedules
  • Monitor construction execution and report delays or issues to the construction team
  • Manage, review, and develop weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Provide specialist support to internal stakeholders, offering solution-based improvements initiatives
  • Actively manage and ensure project management systems and scheduling are up-to-date
  • Ensure all staff and subcontractors involved are fully compliant in relevant databases
  • Carry out DBOR audits on a regular basis
  • Perform relevant administrative tasks in supporting the project team
Key Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in coordinating work will be highly regarded in this role

  • Demonstrated knowledge of cost, commercial management, and finance principles
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in conjunction with the site team
  • Significant planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent skills across Microsoft's suite of products, particularly Excel (and SAP)
  • Sound communication and collaboration skills
